It is our intention to honor any and all soldiers and officers who fought for the 14th Missouri State Militia Cavalry and give you and your ancestor/s their own web page. If you had an ancestor who fought for the 14th, could you please e-mail us with any information you would like to see on his own web page, which will also contain your e-mail address link. Please feel free to submit any photo’s or document’s you would like to see on this page. For an example of what your ancestors web page will look like, click here. Please submit all photo’s and document’s in the standard “GIF” graphics file format if possible. However, we will accept any graphic file format with the exception of a "MAC" graphis file format as we cannot convert "MAC" files.
We accept biographies written by you, your designate or if you would like, we would be happy to write your ancestors biography for you from the information you submit. All biographies submitted to the 14th will be placed on the site for your "PRIVATE VIEWING ONLY" to look over and give your approval or request a re-write. No biography will be publicly posted until we have your 100% approval of the page content.
If you have your own web page directory with your IP provider, you can place your photo’s and document’s on your site if you like or send them to us. Send us the written information in a TEXT file and we will create the web page for you and link this page to your photo’s and document’s from our site. This will help in conserving precious space here at the 14th M.S.M. Cavalry Historical Site. However, be “VERY SURE” of the spelling of your GIF files or the link to them will not work. Please save all photo’s and document’s in the standard “GIF” graphics file format. I will need the following example of the location to link to your documentation: SubDirName if applicable.
